Actor Sylvester Stallone has had many iconic roles throughout his film career, but one of his most celebrated is John Rambo, a U.S. Army Veteran traumatized by the Vietnam War. Stallone first assumed this role in 1982, with the film First Blood and went on to star in four more films in 1985, 1988 and 2008. Now, he’s returned to this role in 2019’s Rambo: Last Blood, which comes to theaters on September 20th. In honor of Rambo, we’re celebrating Stallone’s legacy with 10 incredible tattoos inspired by his iconic role.
