Ricky Martin’s Livin’ La Vida del Tatuaje
The King of Latin Pop shared a photo of his new amazing blackwork tattoo over the weekend.
When Ricky Martin exploded onto the American music scene as part of the boy band Menudo, he’s probably the last person you would ever have expected to get a tattoo, let alone the extensive collection he has built over the years.
On Friday, Martin revealed his most impressive piece so far—a flowing blackwork design on his lower leg and foot.
The tattoo was done by blackwork specialist Roxx. Martin had high praise for her work, referring to it as “ink with movement.” “Tinta con movimiento,” Martin wrote. “Roxx,
your vibes, your talent, your friendship. You are a legend!!! Thank you!”
Roxx had similar praise for her client, taking care to shout out the work done by the Ricky Martin Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to fighting human trafficking and providing humanitarian aid after natural disasters.
“For a beautiful human, @ricky_martin thank you for all that you do for us in the LGBTQ+ community and with your foundation @rm_foundation… you are pure gold ,” Roxx wrote on Instagram.
The whole thing makes us feel warm and fuzzy inside. Not only do we enjoy seeing celebrities actually going out and getting quality tattoos, but we also love seeing the bond between client and artist.
