Ryan Ashley and Arlo DiCristina Tie the Knot!

Take a look at the tattooed newly weds

Back in 2018, tattoo artists Ryan Ashley Malarkey and Arlo DiCristina announced their relationship to the world by appearing on our Holiday issue in a Calvin Klein inspired cover spread. Now, less than 365 days later, they’ve taken their relationship to an even bigger level by tying the knot. 

The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Colorado, where the two live and work. According to Ashley, DiCristina proposed with a hand carved marble ring and the paired were quietly married at their home shortly thereafter. Both Ashley and DiCristina work out of Elysium Studios in Grand Junction, with the former specializing in ornamental beadwork and the latter in color surrealism.

I couldn’t be more elated, more content, or more excited to announce that @arlotattoos and I are now officially Mr. & Mrs. ❤️ SURPRISE! After an extremely romantic and thoughtful proposal, where Arlo proposed to me with a Roman looking solid marble ring that he hand carved from a block of marble from the earth where he proposed, we realized that we didn’t feel much different being “engaged”. The plan all along was really to just spend our lives together, without any of the fuss or the show or the stress. So we said fuck it, and got married right when we got home privately and discretely just the 2 of us ❤️ In a life where everything we say and do is SO MUCH on public display, I’m glad that THIS was just for US. Arlo, you are the light of my life. Thank you for making me remember the real ME that I have been missing for so long. I love you beyond these physical bodies, and I am so happy we found each other in this life.
