Dr. Woo Helps Scooter Braun Find His Way With a New Tattoo
The entrepreneur/philanthropist/record exec got a touching tribute to his family from the famous tattooer
Throughout his career, Scooter Braun has always been able to guide himself in the right direction. Whether it was his decision to drop out of college to work with Jermaine Dupri or to throw his influence behind the gun control movement by co-organizing the March our Lives, Braun tends to find the right path in life. One might go as far as to say that he has an internal compass guiding him along the way.
Now, thanks to Dr. Woo, that internal compass has become external.
Braun visited Dr. Woo on December 26th to have the piece done. As you can see, it is chock full of tiny details, the signature of Dr. Woo’s work. If you are paying close attention you might notice that the directions upon Braun’s compass rose are not North, South, East and West.
Each direction is dedicated to one of the members of his family. At the top of the piece, serving as his North Star, is “Y,” his wife Yael Cohen. Each of the other directions is dedicated to one of his three children—Levi, Jagger and Hart.
One has to wonder if the Saturn-esque planet near the top of the design, quite close to the Y, happens to represent Braun himself.
While Braun isn’t nearly as heavily inked as his most famous client, Mr. Justin Bieber, he does have a budding collection. We look forward to seeing what Braun adds next.

Tattoo enthusiasts often claim addiction, but true addiction involves chemical and psychological dependence. Obsessive love for tattoos is not the same as addiction.
