Check out our latest issue featuring Mike Tyson, Lilith Czar, Demetrious Johnson and more

As we close out an amazing 2022, we’ve packed our Holiday Issue to the gills with amazing profiles of some of your very favorite artists, musicians, athletes and more. Grab your copy here at Inkedshop.com. Or, better yet, subscribe to Inked so you never miss a single issue.

Mike Tyson

Inked is pleased to share our Holiday Issue featuring the one-and-only Mike Tyson. Throughout our conversation with the heavyweight champion turned cannabis entrepreneur we were able to use his tattoos to connect all of the different phases of his fascinating life.

“Listen, my family and my friends started crying [when they saw it]. ‘What did you do to your fucking face?’” Tyson says. “Now look [laughs]. Without knowing it, this was the best thing that ever happened to me. I had a really menacing attitude back then, I was pretty rambunctious back then, so I went and did it.”

Lilith Czar

Lilith Czar, formerly known as Juliet Simms, told us about how she has been reborn as a musician, a transformation seen throughout her latest album “Created from Filth and Dust.”

“Lilith is a symbol of female empowerment,” Czar explains. “Throughout different cultures and time periods, there are all these different depictions of Lilith. In Sumerian language, she’s this demon who’s said to have a screech like an owl and is kind of a maneater. Whereas in Wiccan culture, she’s revered as this incredible goddess who represents sexual freedom.

“Then in the Bible, she’s created from the same filth and dirt as Adam and because of that, she felt she was his equal,” she continues. “I think that’s such a strong story and really represents what women continue to go through. The name Lilith is not just mine, it represents all women.”

Demetrious Johnson

In our interview with ONE Flyweight Champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson we learned that while he may be fearsome within the octagon, he’s a mild-mannered family man at home. Well, at least when he’s not playing video games…

“I could play games for myself all day, every day,” he says. “I stream to interact with the fans. That’s why my wife got me into it.” He then corrects himself for referring to the people who tune into his stream as “fans.” “We’re a community,” he says. And chuckles, adding, “The community loves watching me play [Elden Ring] because I get pissed off at it.”

Lorna Shore

We’ve got a conversation with the deathcore band Lorna Shore as they discuss how less than ideal circumstances helped them create one of their strongest records to date, “Pain Remains.”

“I’m a big fan of working down to the wire, like, last-minute as fuck,” vocalist Will Ramos says. “But this was just crazy, dude. It was like when you show up to hand in your school project and it’s due and they’re literally collecting the papers and you’re in the back just, like, trying to do the last couple of fucking answers real quick. And you’re like, this is fine.”

We’ve got all that plus interviews with Jawny, Jesse Jo Stark, Mike Amoia, Chrissy Chlapecka and more. You don’t want to miss it!
