This Tattooed Designer Created the First Lingerie Line for Trans Women

Meet Carmen Liu, a 27-year-old London-based lingerie designer on a mission to create beautiful undergarments specifically for trans women. As a trans woman herself, Liu noticed that while many clothing brands were inclusive in their marketing campaigns, none had created underwear that met the needs of trans women.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Liu shares her thoughts on transgender inclusion in the fashion industry, sharing: 

Liu’s lingerie fits the traditional parameters of female undergarments in the fabric choices, however, it allows trans women the comfort to tuck at their leisure. In addition to creating bras and underwear, Liu has also created a lingerie tape that makes the process of tucking genital less painful and much safer.
