Arguably one of the most popular memes of 2019, Woman Yelling at Cat has taken over social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The image on the left, woman yelling, originated from a 2011 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills featuring Taylor Armstrong and Kyle Richards. The cat on the other hand goes by Smudge and the photo of him in front of a salad first appeared on Tumblr in June of 2018.
The photos first appeared together in a Twitter post in May of 2019 and spread like wildfire as a viral meme. It has since hit the tattoo industry and is frequently accompanied by tattoo fails.
