WATCH THE “BLINDSPOT” TRAILER AND VIEW IMAGES FROM THE SHOW BELOW THE TEXT

Last night, while watching the new David Duchovny show “Aquarius” on NBC, a rare occurrence took place and I actually found myself watching commercials. I don’t remember if the DVR remote was just too far away or maybe I was just still too distracted by how good those chicken tacos I made for dinner were. Either way, for once, I was glad I didn’t hit the fast forward button, because if I had I would’ve missed the trailer for the upcoming NBC show “Blindspot.”

Here’s how NBC starts the synopsis of the show: ““A vast international plot explodes when a beautiful Jane Doe is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there.”

You had me at “beautiful Jane Doe is discovered naked…completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos…” The trailer for the show, which you can watch below, pretty much starts out the same way. The FBI soon realizes that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, and Jane Doe (played by Jamie Alexander) soon realizes that parts of her memory aren’t gone—like the parts that hold her martial arts skills and foreign language knowledge. If you watched NBC’s action-comedy “Chuck” (like I did religiously because I’m a nerd and Josh Schwartz is my leader), it’s kind of like that, but an action-drama with a beautiful, naked, tattoo-covered woman at the center. Maybe that’s where “Chuck” went wrong with viewers.

Watch the trailer below and catch “Blindspot” on Mondays this Fall on NBC.
