FOSTA-SESTA are the House and Senate bills that became law on April 11th, 2018. The intent of this law is to prevent sex trafficking in the United States, however, it’s been criticized to have negative consequences on the sex work industry. The law prevents sex workers from sharing bad client lists and safely discussing their experiences in forums online—essentially turning more people to work on the streets. In an interview with VICE, this modern madame is fighting to keep sex work safe and it’s time you learned a thing or two about her business model.
