Halle Berry Gets a New Tattoo And Poses in Topless Instagram Pic
Her back tattoo isn't her first, and hopefully, won't be her last.
Halle Berry posted her newest tattoo on Instagram, and we can’t get enough of it.
The huge tattoo has a long vine with leaves running down her spine, from her neck to lower back.
The 52-year-old Oscar-winning actress wore a shimmering, sequin skirt, while holding an egg in her kitchen.
“Who says I’m not a mermaid,” she captioned the post, including a mermaid emoji.
Berry also posted the photo on her Instagram story, decorated with cartoon jellyfish and corals on the bottom.
It’s unclear when exactly Berry got the impressive ink, but was seen at the Costume Designers Guild Awards on February 19th, covering her back with a low ponytail.
Berry presented the CDGA Career Achievement Award to Ruth E. Carter, with whom she worked with on her first-ever film, “Jungle Fever.”
Berry’s back tattoo isn’t her first ink. She admitted that her biggest regret is getting the name of her ex-husband, David Justice, tattooed onto her butt in 1992.
When the marriage ended in 1996, Berry had covered the pro-baseball player’s name with a sunflower.
“I chose a sunflower because when darkness descends they close up to regenerate,” Berry said.
While at the time she was also quoted saying, “clear skin is best,” we are glad Halle changed her mind.
