60 Ferocious Catwoman Tattoos
Who's your favorite Catwoman?
Marvel may have heroes locked down, but when it comes to villains, we’re all about DC. DC villains are badass, especially if they’re featured in a Batman story line. And of course, one of our all-time favorites is Catwoman. Catwoman, a.k.a. Selina Kyle, made her debut in “Batman #1” in 1940. She’s best known for being a burglar in Gotham City, frequently sporting a tight black catsuit and a whip.
Catwoman’s origin story and motivations change depending on the source material. Over the years, many actresses in Hollywood have portrayed Catwoman in various capacities. She made her debut in the live-action “Batman” television series in 1966 and was portrayed by Julie Newmar (season 1 and 2) and Eartha Kitt (season 3). In 1992, Tim Burton’s “Batman Returns” cast Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman—which became one of her most iconic roles to date. By 2004, Catwoman earned her own feature film and Halle Berry was cast in the role. Eight years later, Catwoman returned to the big screen in “The Dark Knight Rises” and Anne Hathaway took over the role. Now, the next Catwoman, who will portray the role in 2022’s “The Batman” will be Zoë Kravitz. Catwoman has also made appearances in numerous animated series, video games and was recently voiced by Rosario Dawson in the podcast “Batman: The Audio Adventures.”
In honor of Catwoman and her upcoming revival in “The Batman,” take a look at some of our favorite Catwoman tattoos from talented tattoo artists around the world. Then let us know who your favorite Catwoman is in the comments section on social media.
