Sure, plenty of artists wait to get great ink but the majority have some of the worst tattoos you’ve ever seen. This is because, during the apprenticeship, many artists tattoo themselves or act as guinea pigs for other new artists. We asked 25 tattoo artists to share their unbelievably awful ink and you won’t believe what you’re about to see.
