Jada Pinkett Smith and Family Get Inked by Dr. Woo
The three women who host "Red Table Talk," Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris, paid a visit to the celebrity tattoo artist to knock something off their bucket list.
Here at Inked, when we see mothers and daughters getting tattooed together, well, the room gets a little dusty if you know what I’m talking about.
Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris paid a visit to Dr. Woo for a special episode of their Facebook Watch program “Red Table Talk.” The trio ended up getting a trifecta of matching lotus tattoos.

Jada shared a behind-the-scenes look at the episode on her Instagram where Willow gives a pretty thorough explanation as to why they chose lotus flowers for their very special tattoos. “The lotus represents spiritual enlightenment,” Willow says. “And we hear the saying, ‘through the mud grows the lotus.’ I think all of us from different perspectives in life have had the journey. The bud to the little blossom to the bloom, expresses the spiritual journey, but it also us.”

Judging by her Instagram post, it would be safe to say that Jada was clearly thrilled by her first tattoo. “Look what we did!!!!” she wrote. “Thank you @_dr_woo_ for your patience and generosity of your craft and spirit✨ Now I want a sleeve!!!!”
We can’t wait to see if Jada follows through with that desire, she’d look pretty badass with a sleeve.
As he shared the tattoos on his Instagram, Dr. Woo expressed his gratitude for being part of the experience. “Thank you for the great conversations,” the tattooer wrote. “And the opportunity to do this special one for all of you.”
Have you ever gotten a tattoo with one (or more) of your relatives? Let us know on social media.
