Apparently according to a host of strip club employees – past and present – there are two reasons why the lights are kept low in these establishments. One is to bathe the strippers in the most complimentary lighting scenario possible – which apparently is to shed as little light as possible upon them, and the other is to mask the unsanitary conditions of some of these joints.
Look, any of us who occasionally – or frequently – patronize gentlemen clubs are not looking for a sterile environment, however if we are going to pick up an STD, we would prefer it didn’t happen via the bar stool.
These are the confessions of employees who recently used reddit to dish the “dirt” on these dirty dancing digs.
