Celebrate World Book Day with Tattooed Bookworms
These tattoo models love a big book
Bookworms, listen up! Thursday, April 23rd is World Book Day, a day that celebrates the joys of reading for fun. World Book Day was established by the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1995, in honor of writer Miguel de Cervantes, author of “Don Quixote” and William Shakespeare. Both authors died on April 23rd, 1616, making it appropriate for UNESCO to pick this date.
There’s no better time to celebrate World Book Day than now. COVID-19 has caused many of us to adopt social distancing to slow the spread of the virus and we’re all looking for ways to occupy our time. And while I, like many, have been enjoying Netflix in my spare time, we recommend limiting screen time and picking up a good book. We’re sure that many of you have a full stack of books you haven’t gotten around to reading and now’s your chance! Crack open that hardcover or turn on your Kindle, because as RuPaul always says, “Reading is Fundamental, darling!”
In honor of World Book Day, we’ve brought together some of the most beautiful tattoo models around who enjoy reading a good book. Take a peek at these sexy bookworms in the gallery below, then let us know what you’re reading in the comments section on social media.
