Inked Girl of the Month April: Mina Mendes
Mina Mendes Is Redefining Ink, Fitness, and Global Influence
Mina Mendes is not easy to define, and that is exactly the point. The Germany-based international model, fitness influencer, and esports entrepreneur has spent more than a decade building a career that crosses industries, cultures, and creative lanes. Through it all, her tattoos remain the most personal reflection of who she is.
With work spanning Europe, the United States, Asia, and Africa, Mendes has established herself as a global presence in modeling. At the same time, she has carved out space in the gaming world, streaming on Twitch, hosting Call of Duty esports tournaments, and co-owning her own esports organization.
Still, it is her approach to tattoos that anchors her identity.
Mina Mendes on Tattoos as Personal Storytelling
For Mina Mendes, tattoos are not about trends. They are about memory, growth, and individuality.
“Tattoos have always been like memories of different phases in my life,” Mendes says. “Markers of growth, special moments, and meaningful interests.”
Each piece represents a chapter. Together, they form a visual timeline of her life.
Her first tattoo, a tribal design on her belly, marked the beginning of that journey. While it reflected her early inspiration, she later chose to cover it as her standards and artistic preferences evolved.
“My taste changed, and the quality back then wasn’t what it is today. Covering it felt right.”
Today, her tattoos carry deeper meaning. Some of the most personal pieces are dedicated to her daughter, including her name and birthday, alongside tattoos honoring her dogs, spirituality, and personal growth.
“Every tattoo represents a part of my life. They’re all deeply personal.”
Anime, Fitness, and Creative Influence
Mendes continues to expand her collection with a new anime leg sleeve, working with German tattoo artist Steven More. The project already includes Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece and Akaza from Demon Slayer, with plans to build out a full character-driven sleeve.
Her love for anime and gaming plays a major role in her creative identity. She is drawn to the storytelling and emotional depth, using those worlds as both inspiration and escape.
At the same time, fitness is a core part of her lifestyle. Strength training has become more than a routine. It is a discipline that shapes both her physical and mental approach to life.
“It challenges me and teaches me resilience,” she says.
Despite her bold look and global presence, Mendes describes herself as more introspective than people expect.
“People assume I’m very extroverted, but I’m actually quite reflective. I value depth and growth.”
Inked Girl of the Month Mina Mendes Looks Ahead
Being named Inked Girl of the Month is a meaningful milestone for Mendes, who has followed the magazine for years.
“It means a lot to me. It feels like recognition of my journey, my style, and the story behind my tattoos.”
Looking forward, she is focused on expanding her presence in the fitness world and building something larger from her passion for strength training.
“Fitness is not just a hobby. It’s a lifestyle, and I’m ready to take it to the next level.”
For Mina Mendes, tattoos are more than body art. They are a record of evolution, a reflection of identity, and proof that growth leaves a permanent mark.
And like her career, that story is still unfolding.
