You Won’t Believe Demi Lovato’s 8 Hour Tattoo

Following her short fling and ultimate breakup with tattoo model Austin Wilson, Lovato has appeared to have taken a page from his book with a bold new tattoo. For her new piece, Lovato sought out Italian tattooer Alessandro Capozzi, who splits his time between Los Angeles, New York and Miami.

According to Capozzi, who took to Instagram to post the tattoo, the piece signifies rebirth and features an angel being carried by doves. 

“We created this piece together to represent a rebirth of the spirit,” Capozzi says. “The dark wings represent the bad times, their fading away is how she moved forward. The light from within represents the inner strength necessary for the change and the doves, pulling her up, symbolize the reach of an higher state of consciousness.”

Capozzi revealed to TMZ that the tattoo session began at noon and the piece was finished around 8pm on Monday December 23rd. The pair met the night before, in the VIP section of Ariana Grande’s concert in Inglewood.
