Jake Paul Went to Sleep and Woke Up with 11 New Tattoos

Do you ever dream about having a bunch of tattoos that you don’t actually have? I had a recurring dream where I had a very dapper frog sitting on a stool casting a fishing line into my belly button. Yes, that’s probably a little too much insight into my unhinged psyche, but the reason I bring it up is that every time I woke up I immediately checked to see if the tattoo was real. As if I would have been able to conjure a tattoo with mind powers. Of course this never happened, but I’m guessing Jake Paul probably had a similar feeling when he came out from under anesthesia to 11 new tattoos.

As the SEC was in the middle of charging Paul and a litany of other celebs for violating securities laws, the YouTuber turned pro boxer was in Los Angeles this past week. While there he visited Ganga Tattoo and let the whole team go to town on him while he slept away. Getting tattooed under anesthesia has been a service Ganga has offered since 2017, allowing people to get enormous tattoos without ever experiencing the pain most of us go through.

Paul didn’t commit to one big piece, instead he got a smattering of different tattoos all over his body. Over eight hours, a team of different artists ended up adding 11 pieces to Paul’s collection. He had a shoulder, a thigh, a foot and most of his left leg done during the session. From watching the video, it appears as if at least fiver different artists (including Ganga) worked on Paul during the session. Among the pieces was a Polynesian-inspired design, a tiger, a skeleton, an angel and a butterfly.

The transformation that can take place when a person’s pain tolerance doesn’t factor into the equation is remarkable. That being said, we’re guessing the healing process of so many different pieces taking place all at once is its own type of hell. Paul better have bought the industrial sized tub of A&D.
