Unlike most of the fads from the 1940s, like the Jitterbug for example, pinup photography has aged beautifully. The style is just as relevant and tantalizing as it was during World War II when models were painted on the side of bombers. Monthly Inked contributor Robert Alvarado uses tattooed women in many of his shoots, thus keeping the 70-year-old style as vital as it ever was.
