Vintage Ghostly Images

Roughly 150 years away from its heyday spirit photography still manages to be haunting. During the Victorian era spiritualists used to use one of many camera tricks—double exposures, placing a small image on the camera’s lense etc.—to create portrait photos that appeared to have a ghost in them.
