There are three ways to pretty much guarantee that you will never wind up with an arm dripping blood and puss a week after getting tattooed. And that is by, going to a reputable tattoo artist, listening to the artist’s aftercare recommendations and keeping the damn thing clean!

Well, by the look of the following 13 disasters, it appears that some of these people ignored each of the three rules, while others may have just succumbed to bad luck. Any way you shake it these are some nasty infections, including the one pictured below that actually went on to cause the death of a man who had an already compromised immune system.

So, take a look at these bad ass infections and let them be a warning to ya!
