Inked Man of the Month April 2026: William Lulu Is Built by Miami and Defined by His Ink

From Florida City roots to full-body tattoos, William Lulu’s story is one of identity, resilience, and never doing anything halfway.

William Lulu doesn’t ease into anything. Whether it’s tattoos, fitness, or life in general, his approach has always been all in.

Originally from Florida City, Florida, a small town at the southern edge of Miami, Lulu has built his identity through a mix of culture, creativity, and discipline. Today, he works across brand collaborations and campaigns while also livestreaming on TikTok, connecting with a growing audience that follows both his lifestyle and his look.

But long before the platform and partnerships, there was the ink.

The Meaning Behind William Lulu’s Tattoos

For William Lulu, tattoos started early. Before he ever stepped into a shop, he was already creating the look himself.

“I used to draw all over my hands and arms with ink pens,” he says. “I always wanted to mimic the look of tattoos.”

That fascination quickly turned real. His first tattoo came at just 13 years old, his last name, “Lulu,” inked on his left inner forearm. It happened at a flea market in Miami, with a friend’s mom signing off and his own mother unexpectedly supporting the decision.

From that moment, there was no slowing down.

“By sixteen I had two sleeves, a neck sleeve, chest, leg, and upper back done,” he says.

What started as curiosity turned into full commitment.

Among his collection, one piece stands out above the rest. A large stomach tattoo he got at 18, right after graduating high school, designed alongside his artist.

The piece represents Miami, split into two worlds. One side reflects city life, the other the “dirty south” swamp side, with the water tower from his hometown dividing the two.

“It’s a memoir of where I’m from. The city that built me into who I am today.”

Discipline, Growth, and Life Outside the Ink

While tattoos are a major part of his identity, they’re only one piece of the story.

Lulu’s lifestyle is rooted in movement. He spends his time training, lifting, and staying active, always pushing himself physically. Hiking, biking, and anything outdoors keeps him grounded, while time with his dogs, Draco and Diesel, brings balance.

He also has a competitive edge that runs deeper than most people expect.

“I played football from middle school all the way through my senior year of college,” he says.

Lulu competed at the JUCO, Division I, and Division II levels, all while earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Virginia State University. Along the way, he battled through injuries, including surgeries on his bicep tendon and ACL.

That resilience still shows up in everything he does.

Inked Man of the Month William Lulu Looks Ahead

Being named Inked Man of the Month is something Lulu doesn’t take lightly.

“I feel honored and privileged,” he says. “I’ve followed Inked Magazine for years, and the people and stories they feature always inspired me.”

Now, he’s part of that lineup.

Looking ahead, Lulu is focused on leveling up physically and professionally. He’s currently training to compete in a natural men’s physique competition, aiming to reach an elite level of conditioning.

At the same time, he’s stepping into the fashion space, with plans to walk in Swim Week and fall runway shows, while continuing to build brand collaborations.

“It’s going to be an exciting year,” he says. “No matter the ups or downs, every day is a blessing.”

For William Lulu, the tattoos tell the story, but the work behind them is what keeps it moving forward.
