UK Woman On the Brink of Death Because of a Bug Bite
While lions, bears, and sharks may appear to be the most threatening predators on the planet—it’s actually the smallest creatures that do the most damage. Insects such as mosquitos and ticks can carry life threatening diseases—including malaria, zika, and lyme disease. These tiny pests can bring huge health consequences with their bite and one woman from the UK is facing the reality of an infected bug bite that she experienced almost twenty years ago. That’s right, a bug bite from childhood has now left a healthy and vibrant North London student wheel-chair bound with her fate in severe jeopardy. Take a look at the gallery below to learn how her life was turned upside down by a tick bite and let us know in the comments section on Facebook what you think of her tragic story.
