This weekend, the 2020 Golden State Tattoo Expo was held at the Pasadena Convention Center and hundreds of talented artists from around the world gathered under one roof. Over three days, artists across all genres of tattooing crafted unbelievable works of art and we’re here to report some of the convention’s highlights. It’s been a wild weekend at the @goldenstatetattooexpo …. i made this piece for Matt over two full days. We are going to continue it into a full sleeve in a couple months. I just used my new @fkirons Spektra FLUX wireless rotary tattoo machine for the first time to make this #hammerheadtattoo over the course of the last 3 days @goldenstatetattooexpo. What an incredible machine and awesome experience. I’m extremely impressed. NO MORE CORDS FOR ME! It held its charge the entire time for my heavy demands pushing a 23 curved magnum for countless hours. I never once experienced a difference in performance. The last hour delivered exactly like the first hour. It fully charges in under an hour with a USBC port. On Saturday, my longest day at the convention, I did plug it in to charge about 3/4 of the way through my session when I stopped to eat. I only did this just to be smart and keep it fully charged. I never experienced any difference in power, I was just taking advantage of my break. The pen style and small battery and control panel design permit me to hold the machine from the rear to tattoo in the painterly fashion I’ve grown accustomed to.
