Barbie has forever been a crowd favorite. Between @Barbie and @BarbieStyle, the unrealistically beautiful Mattel doll has nearly 1.4 million followers on Instagram–clearly she’s no longer just a toy for tots. Still, kids have always used their Barbie dolls to bring the imaginative stories that live inside their heads to life, making the “perfect” doll their outlet to be an astronaut, politician, scuba diver, or ballerina. Barbie is arguably a role model for all ladies to go for the gold (she was an Olympian, too). We’re still waiting for Tattoo Artist Barbie to come out. Until then, tattooists will ink the pink-obsessed doll to skin.
