75 Dope Cannabis Tattoos
How are you celebrating 4/20?
It’s that time of year again. No, we’re not talking about tax season. Instead, Happy 4/20! And what a year it’s been for cannabis. During the 2020 election, many states had cannabis on their ballots. In this election, recreational use was passed in Arizona, Montana and New Jersey, with medical use legalized in Mississippi. Then, in 2021, recreational use was legalized in New York and recreational use will soon be legal in both Virginia and New Mexico. And many additional bills in states around the country have been introduced in 2021 for recreational, medical and decriminalization legalization. Today, cannabis is legal for recreational use in 17 states as well as Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands and Washington, D.C. However, we still have a long way to go.
Cannabis policing has targeted Black and brown Americans for decades and justice for those impacted is well overdue. To learn more about this pressing issue, visit Cannabis Justice for resources about understanding systemic racism and how to take action.
