Amber Rose Hospitalized After Announcing Pregnancy of Second Child

In 2008, Amber Rose popped up in Hollywood after appearing in a number of music videos. Shortly after being featured by the likes of Nicki Minaj, Rose went on to begin a public relationship with rapper Kanye West for the next two years. In summer of 2010, Rose and West ended their relationship, however, by 2011 she began a relationship with Wiz Khalifa. Khalifa and Rose went on to get married in 2013 after their son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz was born in February of that year. But, by September of 2014, Rose filed for divorce and by summer of 2017, she’d moved on to dating rapper 21 Savage. Currently, Savage and Rose have been broken up since March of 2018 and over the past few months, she’s been public about seeing Def Jam executive A.E.

Although Rose and A.E. have a relatively new relationship, just last week they took things to the next level by announcing they were expecting a child together. In a photo posted to Rose’s Instagram, she shares that she has a baby boy on the way and looked smitten while having an ultrasound.

However, according to sources close to Rose, the pregnancy hasn’t been smooth sailing so far. In an interview with TMZ, sources claim “she’s 13 weeks pregnant and is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum … a severe type of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. We’re told Amber was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a few days, getting IV treatments because she was sick and losing weight.”

Rose and partner A.E. are currently taking the precautions necessary to ensure that both mother and baby are healthy. And Rose isn’t the only celebrity to publicly address their struggles with hypermesis gravidarum—Kate Middleton, Kim Kardashian, Kelly Clarkson, Debra Messing, Kourtney Kardashian, Tia Mowry, and Tori Spelling also experienced symptoms of extreme morning sickness.

Rose is expected to give birth in October, meaning she has the majority of her pregnancy to go. However, she’s currently receiving the best medical care possible and has a supportive team by her side. Let us know your thoughts on this story in the comments section.
