And to celebrate the life and career of this beloved actor, we’re paying homage to one of his most iconic film roles thus far—Aquaman. In 2016, Momoa played Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, later going on to be part of the ensemble cast in 2017’s Justice League, as well as a solo film in 2018. Here’s a throw back to a few weeks ago when @marzan_tattoo added the most important section to my ocean piece. I felt that it only made perfect sense to add Aquaman, the “Protector of the Oceans” to this piece. Because while this tattoo is to show my love and devotion towards our oceans. It’s also to help spread awareness and to show how important our oceans are to this planet.
