Ariana Grande Got Several New Hand Tattoos
Check out the singer's fresh ink
Ariana Grande is at it again! Over the past two years, the pop singer has been under the tattoo needle more times than anyone else in Hollywood and quickly jumped to visible spots on the body, such as the hands and neck. In December of 2018, Grande shocked fans by getting a large crescent moon tattooed on the top of her left hand. Grande sought out the skills of Brooklyn based illustrative artist Mira Mariah, who works out of Williamsburg’s Fleur Noire. The tattoo garnered the “7 Rings” singer heaps of tabloid attention and just a few months later, she caught the world’s attention once more after getting a mistranslated phrase on her palm at the beginning of 2019.
Now, Grande is back to collecting ink on her “glove” and went back to Mariah for several smaller pieces. The singer took to her Instagram story to share her new work, first flaunting the word “Toulouse.” Toulouse is the name of Grande’s dog, a 6-year-old Beagle-Chihuahua mix. Toulouse is Grande’s most famous pet, appearing in her “No Tears Left to Cry,” “Thank U, Next,” and “7 Rings” music videos, as well as alongside Grande on the August 2019 cover of Vogue Magazine.
But Grande didn’t stop after an homage for her precious pooch. Grande also got two leaves joined her wrist and hand, as well as the planet Saturn. The significance of these two tattoos is currently unknown, however, my best guess for the planet Saturn is that it has to do with Grande’s astrological sign. Although Grande’s sun sign is Cancer, her ascendant is in Capricorn which is ruled by Saturn.
