Billie Eilish Has a Secret Tattoo
Take a look at what the Grammy winner said of her first tattoo.
Every year, for the past four years, Billie Eilish has done the same interview with Vanity Fair. It all began in 2017, when the singer was just 15-years-old and only had a couple hundred thousand followers. Today, she’s one of the biggest performers on the planet and made an enormous splash at the 2020 Grammys when she took home five awards (including Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year).
In this year’s interview, Eilish reflected on how far she’s come and how her 2020 has been thus far. She notes that her world was turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic, as she had to cancel her world tour, however she was extremely lucky compared to many worldwide. Then, in the midst of her interview, Eilish revealed something that made our ears perk up—she has a tattoo!
In 2019’s video, Eilish was asked what she’ll embark on for the first time in 2020 and she suggested getting a tattoo. In this year’s video, she confirmed that she got a tattoo, sharing “I did get a tattoo, but you won’t ever see it.”
It checks out that Eilish would be private about her choice to get a tattoo, as she’s been secretive about her body image in the past. Generally, Eilish prefers to wear loose clothes and part of that is because she wants to avoid people sexualizing her body.
While Eilish considers Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande to be her close friends, only time will tell if the singer opts for visible ink in the future. As for the design itself, we haven’t a clue what Eilish went for and this only adds to the many layers of mystery the singer has created for herself.
