If you don’t know about BTS, where the heck have you been?! BTS are an international sensation who first came together in 2010 and made their official debut in 2013. The group consists of seven members—Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—who also co-write and co-produce most of their music. Their influence spans globally, inspiring legions of fans to express their devotion with BTS tattoos.
They released their debut studio album, “Dark & Wild” in August 2014 and followed this up with a Japanese album, “Wake Up” in December of that same year. The band has released four Korean albums since then, which include “Wings” (2016), “Love Yourself: Tear” (2018), “Map of the Soul: 7” (2020) and “Be” (2020). They’ve also released three followup Japanese albums, “Youth” (2016), “Face Yourself” (2018) and “Map of the Soul—The Journey” (2020).
Their third studio album, “Love Yourself: Tear” became the first Korean album to hit number one on the U.S. charts and since then, every single one of their albums has claimed the top spot. Over the years, they’ve had many chart topping singles and have collaborated with numerous Western musicians such as Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, Halsey, Charli XCX and Coldplay.
The group currently has their first anthology album in the works, “Proof,” which is scheduled for release on June 10, 2022.
