50 Beautiful Bunny Tattoos
Would you get a bunny tattoo?
If you’re looking for a cute tattoo, you can never go wrong with a bunny. Bunnies are known more officially as rabbits and belong to the leporidae family. There are over 300 species of rabbits found throughout 70 countries and have been introduced to every continent aside from Antarctica.
Bunnies have been domesticated for thousands of years, with the earliest sources of taming dating back to 600 A.D. by French Monks. Today, they’re an extremely common pet and they can even be litter-box trained. There are many different breeds that can be kept as pets, which vary greatly in size, color and hair length. Some of the most popular breeds to have as pets include the Lionhead Rabbit, the English Lop, the Flemish Giant and the Mini Rex.
Throughout time, bunnies have frequently been depicted throughout popular culture. In literature, we’re all very familiar with the White Rabbit of “Alice in Wonderland,” Peter Rabbit of “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” and Fiver of “Watership Down.” They’re extremely popular among animators, as shown through notable characters such as Bugs Bunny of “Looney Tunes,” Judy Hopps of “Zootopia” and Thumper of “Bambi.” And of course, we cannot forget the famous Playboy bunny.
In honor of all the bunny lovers in our audience, we’ve curated 50 of our favorite tattoos from talented artists around the world. Take a peek at these fantastic pieces in the gallery below and let us know your thoughts on this story in the comments section on social media.
