Comic Book Legend Stan Lee Dies at 95! Fifteen Tattoos as Homage to Mr. Marvel!
He created our most beloved super heroes and now he is gone!
Stan Lee was born Stanley Martin Lieber in December 28, 1922. Stan is best known as an American comic-book writer, editor, film executive producer, actor, and publisher. He was formerly editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics and later its publisherand chairmanbefore leaving the company to become its chairman emeritus, as well as a member of the editorial board. He was also known for making cameo appearances in Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
Stan Lee while collaborating with several other artists, including Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he co-created fictional legendary super hero characters like Spider-Man, the Hulk, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther, the X-Men, and, with the addition of co-writer Larry Lieber, the characters Ant-Man, Iron Man and Thor.
Stan Lee’s contribution to comic books and film cannot be measured. Hollywood took Lee’s comic book classics and with Lee’s guidance (and sometimes against his better judgement) created a genre of films that have become some of the highest grossest films in history. It is with great sorrow, that we say goodbye to a super talented gentleman and friend to all who knew him.
Here are 15 tattoos done in homage to the one and only, great Stan Lee.
