Disney Tattoos That Aren’t Glitchy Like a Certain Streaming Service
The rollout of the much ballyhooed Disney + streaming service has been a little rough
One would have hoped that Disney would have been prepared for launch day. After years of hype, Disney + was finally launched on Tuesday, but things did not go nearly as smoothly as they would have hoped.
Thousands of people eagerly attempted to fire up the service and start watching “The Biscuit Eater” or “The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes” only to be met with an ominous blue screen.
I’m not saying that this screen would make me want to inflict bodily harm on Pluto and Mickey, but… it’s not a good look. Disney is a multi-billion dollar company with all of the resources in the world, it is beyond ridiculous that they weren’t prepared for launch day.
If Disney + is going to usurp and replace Netflix, which is very much what they are aiming to do, they can’t be throwing out a glitchy service that is difficult to connect to. Especially on the first day. They rolled out the obvious excuse that they had more users than expected at launch, but that’s outrageous. Again, they’ve been building for this launch for a matter of years, it’s ludicrous that they weren’t ready to go.
Yeah, it’s probably silly to blast them for this, especially considering that they were able to rectify things in a timely manner. On the other hand, if they can’t handle the load on the first day, how are we supposed to be confident that they will be able to do so going forward? The amount of subscribers is only going to increase. That is, unless the opening day glitches were a sign of things to come.
This is probably all ado about nothing. In all likelihood, people are going to be able to sign up and watch “The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin” with ease. They might even be able to fire up “The Mandalorian” or “The Little Mermaid” or one of the titles that people actually care about.
But, until then, how about we look at some Disney tattoos that aren’t going to be glitchy. They aren’t going to cause your computer to crash. And you sure as shit aren’t going to see that goddamn blue screen. You’re just going to enjoy some tattoos from your favorite movies created by your favorite artists. Simple.
