Dog Pretends to Be a Stray to Get McDonald’s Burgers

“I caught her in the act. She’s just gold diggin' that be acting like she’s a stray so people will feed her burgers.”

A dog owner in Oklahoma has called out her scheming dog, who is using the puppy-dog face to get free fast food.

Betsy Reyes says her dog, Princess, sneaks out at night and sits outside McDonalds in Oklahoma City. Reyes said she knows exactly what Princess is doing, and claims she is a “gold digger” pretending to be a stray “so people feel bad for her and feed her burgers.”

Reyes decided to catch her dog in the act. She drove to McDonald’s on Monday night and found Princess there, waiting to be fed. A woman was seen reaching out of her car window to throw Princess some food.

After catching Princess’ Hamburglar scam, Reyes pulled up in her car and her pup immediately recognized her.

Reyes shared video and picture evidence of her double-dealing dog sitting in the local McDonald’s parking lot at night.

“If you see my dog @ the McDonald’s on shields, quit feeding her fat ass bc she don’t know how to act & be leaving the house all the time to go walking to McDonald’s at night,” Reyes wrote. “She’s not even a stray dog.”

Caught red handed, Princess the Hamburglar went viral.

When Princess recognized Reyes, Princess started wagging her tail – either in happiness to see Reyes, or to make up for the lies Princess spreads around her local McDonald’s.
