Kourtney Kardashian Tattoos Her Heart Onto Travis Barker’s Sleeve

The reality star showed her love for the Blink-182 drummer by inking "I Love You" onto his forearm.

With the end of the genre-defining reality show “Keeping Up the Kardashians” in sight, Kourtney Kardashian is trying to add some new skills to her resume before she hits the unemployment line. New video posted to her Instagram shows the eldest Kardashian sister in the early days of what we are guessing to be a tattoo apprenticeship. Her line work is a little shaky, but she seems to have the basics down. And, thank goodness, she is adhering to the proper blood-borne pathogen protocols, even if she could use a tighter fit on those gloves. With a couple years of practice and countless hours spent doing thankless tasks around the job, Kardashian may have what it takes to make it as an honest-to-goodness tattoo artist. Factoring in her experience in the world of reality television, we wouldn’t be surprised if Kardashian ended up taking home the title on the 39th season of “Ink Master.”

With the right mentor and plenty of encouragement, she very may well make it in this cutthroat industry after all. Check out how supportive her mentor is as she draws up the design!

OK, obviously we know Kardashian isn’t going to be grinding it out at some street shop on the Pike like Bert Grimm. Hell, we still used the clickbait headline saying exactly what was actually happening before going on with this ruse of an article. But you have to have some sympathy for us here. Do you know how often we’ve had to write about Travis Barker getting tattooed in the last year? He keeps adding new (and interesting) work! It’s exhausting.

All that being said, it’s definitely cool to see these two having so much fun together. The “I Love You” Kardashian tattooed on her beau may not bring the same level of artistry as the Virgin Mary portrait by Chuey Quintanar on Barker’s dome, but that’s not the point. It’s a heartfelt expression of love, and in these deeply cynical times, who doesn’t respect that?

Now that Barker has been tattooed by Kardashian, it’s about time he shows off his skills on Kardashian, right? She put herself out there by permanently etching her feelings into your arm, Travis. The least you can do is return the favor, show you don’t mind publicly flaunting your vulnerability as well. Do it. C’mooooon, do it.

And when they do, we’ll be here to write about it.
