Lea Michele Got a Touching New Tattoo for Corey Monteith

In 2009, actors Lea Michele and Corey Monteith met on set of Fox’s Glee, a musical television show centered on a high school glee club. And as time went on, the two developed a romantic relationship both onscreen and off, dating until July of 2013. Their relationship came to an end when Monteith passed away from a drug overdose, after spending years struggling with addiction.

Michele was very affected by Monteith’s passing and continues to pay tribute to her late boyfriend to this day. In addition to sharing personal photographs and memories, Michele recently got a permanent homage to Monteith in the form of a tattoo. Michele’s tattoo is a simple script design on her left hip, which reads “Finn” in blue ink. Finn is the name of Monteith’s character in Glee and likely a reminder of the many good times the pair had while on the show together.
