Moby Gets a Massive Animal Rights Tattoos
The musician/activist had both of his arms tattooed by Kat Von D in a bold declaration of his beliefs.
Moby has never been shy to use his platform as a way to promote his political beliefs. The musician and activist has been outspoken about his vegan lifestyle and love of animals for as long as we can remember, but now he’s taken things to the next level.
In celebration of 32 years as a vegan, Moby visited Kat Von D to have his arms tattooed with the words “Animal Rights.”
“As November is my 32 year vegan anniversary I thought I’d get a tattoo (well, technically 12 tattoos) to celebrate,” Moby explains on Instagram. “I’m a vegan animal rights activist for many reasons, but ultimately because I believe at the core of my being that every animal has the right to live their own life, according to their own will.”
The tattoo is far from subtle—the big, bold letters run all the way down each arm. When you combine these with his neck tattoo (bold print proclaiming “vegan for life”), Moby can advocate for his beliefs without ever opening his mouth.
If you want to know more about Moby and his support for animal rights give a listen to the One Life One Chance Podcast, with H2O frontman Toby Morse. We can’t wait to see what Moby’s next tattoo will be. Any thoughts?
