Celebrate National Emo Day with 30 Tattooed Hotties

These emo beauties are badass and beautiful

December 19th is National Emo Day—a holiday that pays homage to not only the music but the cultural movement that swept the early to mid 2000s. Emo began Rites of Spring during the 1980s and came into full effect with groups like Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional and of course, My Chemical Romance. But emo is not only a music movement, but a notorious subculture that flourished on MySpace. Emo had an enormous impact on fashion, giving us skinny jeans, studded belts, stretched ears and lots of teased black hair.

In honor of this upcoming holiday, we’re celebrating by sharing 30 tattoo models who embody the emo spirit with their hair, clothing and of course, tattoos. Take a look at the bold and badass beauties in the gallery below, then let us know your favorite emo band in the comments section.

5 years between those two pictures. There might hasn’t changed a lot BUT I changed massively during these years. 5 years ago I was still living in tyrol, still living my easy employees life with parties every weekend. Now, living 500km away from my home town and living my challenging self-employed life. I’ve learned to appreciate time way more. I’ve got way more selfesteem, a better sense when it comes to good or toxic people. I’ve learned to organize my whole day, week and month. Every handgrip makes sense and is well thought out. This is what happens when you carry 100% responsibility on your own. You are responsible for every mistake you make, BUT you are responsible for all perfect moments, which surely come along your way, as well. I would never change a thing!
