Tattoo Shop Offers Free Tattoos In Exchange For Toys
Toys4Tats for not only a free tattoo for you, but to benefit less fortunate children.
While lots of businesses organize Toys for Tots collections around the holidays, where people can drop off gifts to be given to children whose parents can’t afford to buy their kids gifts for Christmas, a tattoo shop in Texas is doing more giving back.
The local San Antonio tattoo shop, Platinum Tattoos & Body Piercing, is offering a great way to give back this holiday season with a “Toys4Tats” program.
Platinum Tattoos & Body Piercing is offering free tattoos, valued at $60 or less, in exchange for an unwrapped $20 toy. This means any tattoo over $100 will get a $80 discount.
The toys are for underprivileged children in Mexico. Platinum Tattoos had opened in 2000, and started the fundraiser in 2016.
“I just love helping kids,” Platinum Tattoos Owner, Noah Yuchnitz, said.
While this is the second year of the event, Yuchnitz said it will be an annual charity.
Anyone wanting to participate can drop off their toy at 5545 NW Loop 410 until the end of the year.
The annual Toys4Tats started October 17th, and will be accepting gifts until December 31st.
Starting October 17th all the way to December 31st take advantage of the annual Toy4Tat’s special that benefits less fortunate children.
Bring in an unwrapped toy valued at $20 before tax or higher and receive a tattoo valued at $60 or less for free; if the tattoo is valued at $100 or more, receive $80 off the total.
