Russell Brand Pays Homage to His Faith with a New Tattoo

Russell Brand is a British stand-up comic and actor, best known for his roles in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek, and his marriage to pop superstar Katy Perry. Over the past several years, Brand has made spirituality a priority and has collected number of tattoos which pay homage to his faith—including Hindu’s Ganesha, the phrase “Lord Make Me A Channel of Thy Peace,” an om symbol, and the seven chakras.

This week, Brand paid a visit to Los Angeles’ hottest celebrity tattoo artist of the moment, Winter Stone, for a tribute to Jesus Christ himself. In a post published to Brand’s Instagram, he shows off the new tattoo with the caption: “Here I am with @winterstone ensuring JC stays close and reclaiming my right arm for righteousness!”
