You Won’t Believe the Tattoo This Man Got to Overcome Social Anxiety
Take a look at this creative tattoo
Social Anxiety is a mental illness that causes people to suffer from extreme stress when meeting new people, presenting in front of large groups or even using a public restroom. Symptoms differ from person to person, but many experience rapid heartbeats, muscle tension, dizziness or nausea. It can have a big impact on people’s lives and make simple tasks, such as petting a stranger’s dog, extremely challenging.
However, for Chase Grossman, a 22-year-old from Ohio, he found a clever way to combat his anxiety with a creative tattoo. Grossman got the phrase “Can I Pet Your Dog?” tattooed on his arm and his ink has since gone viral on social media. In an interview with Business Insider, Grossman explained that he’d come up with the idea while in college but after going ahead with the idea, has made it easier to approach people with cute pups.
