50 Poppin’ Soda Tattoos
What do you call soda?
Depending on where you live in the world, soft drinks go by very different names. Where I grew up in the Northeast, Soda is the preferred term. However, in the Midwest, Pop is the popular name. And throughout the South, you might hear any soda, no matter the brand, be called Coke.
Regardless of what you call it, people love soft drinks and show a lot of pride for their preferred beverage. For decades, Coca-Cola and Pepsi have been dueling over which drink deserves the top spot. It’s Coke and it will always be Coke. Aside from the big two, there are plenty of other soft drinks that people stan—from Sprite to Fanta to Dr. Pepper to Mountain Dew.
Soft drinks have made a tremendous impact on popular culture and have been featured in movies and television shows for decades. For instance, we’ll never forget Pepsi’s role in the movie “Wayne’s World.” Or how about Coca-Cola’s appearance in 1933’s “King Kong?” Even fictional sodas, such as Slurm from “Futurama” have stayed with us.
In honor of all the soft drinks out there, we’ve gathered together 50 soda tattoos from talented tattoo artists around the world. Take a look at these poppin’ tattoos and let us know your preferred brand of soft drink in the comments section on social media.
