65 Spectacular Space Tattoos
Are you curious about outer space?
While it’s easy for us to put all of our focus into what’s happening on Earth, there’s a whole universe out there. Our solar system alone is largely unexplored, with seven planets (and one dwarf planet) that are waiting to be traversed by mankind.
Our fascination with space dates back centuries, with Galileo Galilei making groundbreaking strides in the field of observational astronomy as far back as the 1500s. On June 20, 1969, American astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin made history when they became the first humans to land on the moon. Armstrong went on to become the first human to walk on the moon and when he did, he uttered the famous line “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
Space travel is still a priority for our world and something we’ll likely see expand within the next few decades. One of the biggest innovators when it comes to space travel is Elon Musk, who founded SpaceX in 2002. SpaceX is currently developing Starship, a fully reusable launch system that will have the highest payload capacity of any orbital rocket on it’s debut.
In honor of all the exciting innovations related to space travel to come in the next few years, take a look at 65 epic tattoos inspired by space in the gallery below. Then let us know your favorite science fiction movie about space travel in the comments section on social media.
