Did you have a good weekend? We did. This is and will be for some time a work in progress. @cigno.sg @cigno_backup When her photos have been reposted on things like @inkedmag or @tattooistartmag , the predictable stream of dipshit comments is nothing short of laughable. We find it amusing. Some people live freely and happily and do what they want in this extremely short existence. And some others hate that. Because they are so miserable in their own lives that they have to offload that misery in the comment section of some social media platform. IG isn’t yet YouTube, where the comment section is really the sewer system of human interaction, but it’s a close second. Keep in mind that you NEVER see comments from heavily tattooed people on a photo posted by some conservative Christian mother of 5 saying “ugh, how could she do that?! She totally ruined her life! Good luck getting a job now!”….etc etc..it’s only EVER in the other direction. Negative comments are made by the saddest among us. If you work on yourself spiritually, physically, generally; if you have some love in your heart for humanity and especially yourself, the thought of spreading negative energy online via your judgements just wouldn’t occur to you. We’ve got a lot of work to do, all of us, to stem the tide of ignorance and hatred. Especially now when the world seems going in the other direction..Having tattoos on our faces provides us the opportunity to help people let go of negative energy that is doing them no good, and does all of us no good. I appreciate your consideration of this. Happy new year everyone! Here was my project for 2018. 100% self-done. Worked on it 20 times in honor of my 20th year of tattooing. This was the result of many years of careful thought and meditation, and what was supposed to be there was revealed to me slowly over these years. It has been an incredible growth and learning experience, and will be a work in progress for quite some time. I waited also to reveal this to you all until it was however far along it could be, but this cat is out of the bag now. So here you go. Needless to say, I would not have got to the point of starting this until I had got past the point of giving a fuck about whatever negative feedback or repercussions might accompany such a choice. I’m not a soundcloud rapper, I’m a person who was born to be a tattooer and cares more about it than any other human pursuit. I appreciate your consideration of this.
