What You Need to Know Before Getting a Tiny Tat
Yesterday, I did something that I never thought I would do. I got a micro tattoo! I’ve known about micro tattoos for years—having followed tattooer like Mr. K and JonBoy since I began my tattoo journey. However, I never imagined that I would pick up one of these tiny tats for myself. I don’t have anything against the style, it’s definitely badass that a tattooer can pack so much detail into one tiny piece, but I’ve always gravitated toward traditional and neo-traditional work. But when I had the chance to be inked by an incredible realism artist, I leapt at the chance. And you know what, there were so many things about micro tattoos that surprised me. I would have never know some of these things if I had not received one of these pieces for myself, which is why it’s time to teach our readers at INKED what it’s really like getting a micro tattoo. Take a look at the gallery below to learn all about this up-and-coming style and if you’re a fan of micro tattoos, let us know in the comments section on Facebook!
