Alysha Nett checks in with us as often as her busy schedule will allow to give her insight on modeling, tattoos and art. She even throws in a recipe from time to time. We all know how good she looks in front of the camera, but now she has flipped the script and is shooting her sexy friends. Alysha always makes sure to include plenty of sexy pictures of her exploits, so check back often to see what she’s been up to.
Hello world!
I’ve got a new badass babe to introduce you all to this week. Some of you may know her already from her time on the Suicide Girl’s Burlesque tour, but now you get to meet Bricksie Suicide aka Nicky Bricks in a whole different light. Nicky and I met almost 4 years ago in LA. I was the new girl in town and she was a chill, quiet babe that became my friend almost instantly.
I invited Jason Ross Levy to tag along and put together this awesome BTS video for you. Check it out below and don’t forget to peek at our photos.
Until next time…
Alysha

Hi Nicky! Can you introduce yourself to the Inked audience?
Hi guys! I’m Nicky Bricks aka Bricksie: Professional Dancer with Bloc Talent Agency and Recording Artist in the up and coming music duo ROSEGOLD.
I think some of our readers might know you already from the SG Burlesque tour you did. How did you like being a part of that? The Suicide Girls Blackheart Burlesque tours were such great experiences. I was on 4 tours: US, Canada and Australia.
I absolutely loved being on the road, waking up in a new city every day, sleeping on Tour buses, in hotels, airports & on flights. I really got to experience a little of each city, which is super rad.
Your background in dance is so strong, it was probably fun to perform in front of people every day wasn’t it?
It was amazing. My solo to “Initiation” by The Weeknd is still my favorite performance to date.
How was tour life?
Showers can be sparse & living in close quarters, doing what they call a “metal band schedule” at 6 to 7 shows a week can be grueling… But honestly in the best possible way. Connecting with fans & sharing my art with a new audience every night was so special. I think I was made for tour life. I can’t thank SG enough for those experiences.
I’m sure it’s hard. But hopefully soon you’ll be on a tour of your own with your music! Tell us about ROSEGOLD.
ROSEGOLD has been an evolutionary process, a work in progress over the past couple of years. My counterpart, Roxy & I have been friends for about six years now and it was always our vision to create a brand new, artful & boundary-pushing lane for women in pop & urban music. We have been taking meetings with major labels who have been highly interested this past week and gearing up for our long anticipated release.
I’m so excited for you with this new venture. You must be pumped. What’s it like performing music as opposed to strictly dancing?
It is my true love honestly. I believe all my dance training has led me to this point. Performing is the ultimate high & I absolutely can’t wait to share that side of me with the world. It feels like the next natural step.
Do you have any shows coming up?
We will be performing in LA throughout the summer, check up on my Social Media for venues & dates!
Let’s talk about your tattoos a bit. Who is your main artist?
I have a few artists I like to use: Christian Cervantes, Levi Rivoire, Chon, and Courtney Raimondi @bloodofwolves out of NY. I also just got some really clean script/line work from Jimmy at Artistic Element II on Melrose (s/o to all the artists there too, I love that shop)
Your chest/sternum piece is so pretty! Def one of my favs. How do you come up with your ideas?
Thank you! I love that piece too! Courtney designed and tattooed that one. I love to mix traditional & neo traditional with symbolism & mysticism. My sternum is a third eye piece.
Are you planning to get more?
Absolutely! I’d love a piece from Johnny Gloom (Paris), Emily Rose Murray (Australia) & Miryam Lumpini out of DTLA among so many others. So many talented artists out there.
When did you decide to take the plunge and tattoo your neck? Such a big step!
My neck piece was done before I set out on the first SG tour, I knew I wanted a hummingbird on my neck for quite sometime and finally worked up the guts to do it. It is my favorite piece, hummingbirds are my good luck omen. They are also the national bird of Jamaica, where my dad is from. And the universal symbol of ayahuasca, which I’ve never tried but find super interesting. Thanks Chon for your beautiful work!
