Inked Girl of the Month: Lolo on Ink, Adventure, and Self-Expression
Inside the World of Lolo: Tattoos, Creativity, and Life in Montreal
From the vibrant streets of Montreal, Canada, this month’s Inked Girl of the Month, Lolo, has transformed her love of tattoos into a career and a lifestyle. As a tattoo model, content creator, and marketing professional, Lolo blends artistry, storytelling, and personal expression in everything she does. Her tattoos are more than ink; they are visual narratives of her journey, creativity, and identity.
“I’m a tattoo model and content creator based in Montreal,” Lolo says. “I also work in marketing, which gives me a unique perspective on branding, storytelling, and visual identity. Modeling became a way to merge creativity, culture, and personal narrative into something powerful.”
Tattoos as a Form of Storytelling
For Lolo, tattoos go beyond aesthetics. They are a medium for expressing experiences, emotions, and personal growth.
“There wasn’t one single moment that drew me to tattoos,” she explains. “Over time I realized tattoos gave me a sense of ownership over my body and my narrative. They became markers of who I was and who I was becoming.”
Lolo’s first tattoo was a small dove on her wrist, done in memory of her grandmother. “It was simple and feminine, but it held a lot of personal meaning. That little dove was my first step into the world of tattoos and expressing myself through ink.”
Tattoos That Hold Deep Meaning
Among her many tattoos, one holds special significance. A portrait of her mother on her leg, created by renowned tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado, serves as a deeply personal tribute.
“It’s more than just a tattoo,” Lolo says. “It’s a tribute to her and everything she’s taught me. Every time I look at it, I’m reminded of her strength, love, and the bond we share.”
At the moment, Lolo is focusing on refreshing and retouching several existing pieces, including her backpiece, collarbone tattoos, stomach work, and tattoos on her legs. “There are a few pieces I want to bring back to life,” she says.
Life Beyond the Ink
Outside of modeling and tattoo work, Lolo thrives on experiences. She is a passionate music fan and attends live shows whenever she can. Time outdoors is equally important, whether hiking, paddleboarding, or simply soaking up nature. Gaming is another favorite pastime, offering her a creative escape and a way to unwind.
“For me, it’s all about balancing adventure, creativity, and a little bit of fun chaos,” Lolo says.
Many are surprised to learn that Lolo speaks French fluently, a nod to her Montreal roots and cultural background.
Being Inked Girl of the Month
Being named Inked Girl of the Month is an honor Lolo does not take lightly.
“It’s amazing to see my tattoos and my story celebrated,” she says. “I’m proud to be featured and to represent tattoo culture in my own way.”
Right now, Lolo is focused on enjoying life, spending time with friends and family, and embracing the moments that bring her happiness. Through her tattoos, creativity, and outlook, she continues to show that tattoo culture is about more than ink on skin. It is about identity, storytelling, and owning your narrative.
