Autumn Rose, today’s Inked Girl of the Day, is just as colorful and unique in personality as the flower from which she takes her name, and with bright red hair to match. While her first name invokes the time of year when roses wilt and fade, Autumn’s beauty won’t disappear any time soon. While we’re guessing that her hair takes on many colors when it comes to the ink under her skin Autumn chooses to lean toward black and grey work.
“I stick to black and grey tattoo designs rather than color, it’s more appealing to me,” Autumn says. “All of my work is dark and somewhat strange. You can really tell the type of person I am by looking at my art work, and I love that.”
Autumn finds the inspiration for most of her tattoos from the dark things that lurk in the corners of our minds—horror. Her entire back is covered with the faces of slashers from many of the most famous horror films. But don’t think that Autumn is merely a movie buff, she’s also well versed in horror literature. The center of her back is covered with words from the world’s foremost expert on the horror genre, Edgar Allen Poe.
“There is no exquisite beauty without some strangeness,” the tattoo quotes Poe.
That’s a sentiment we agree with wholeheartedly. And from what we can see by looking through both of Autumn’s Inked Girl profiles leads us to believe that there is a lot of strangeness going on within her—and that’s a good thing.
You can check out all of Autumns photos here and here. If you like what you see we’re guessing that you would love Jessica Rabbit. Or you can peruse all of the gorgeous Inked Girls at this link.

Tattoo enthusiasts often claim addiction, but true addiction involves chemical and psychological dependence. Obsessive love for tattoos is not the same as addiction.
