Okay, before we get into the horrors from the deep, let me give you a few startling facts. The oceans cover over 70% of the Earth’s surface. Out of that 70% only 3% of it is fresh water. The deepest part of the ocean is the Mariana Trench, located of the coast of Japan. The trench is over 36,000 feet deep. To put that in perspective, if you were to drop Mt. Everest into the trench, it’s peak would still be over a mile underwater. One can only image what kind of living creatures inhabit that “uninhabitable” hell hole!
